The dragon's blood jasper is a member of the quartz family (chalcedony). It is a gemstone with fantastic patterns with deep red tones of matrix combined with a combination of shades of forest green. The dragonblood jasper is only found in Western Australia. Local legend says that this stone is the remains of former deceased dragons - green being the skin and red being the blood.
